Hi, nice to be here. Here in Upstate NY it is finally sunny and warm after at least four feet of snow for weeks on end. I retired to take care of my little grandaughters and we made macaroni necklaces one day….I went to the bead store for some supplies to enhance our 'creations' and was immediately hooked.
I made a pair of earrings for myself…got an order for 20 pairs and JilliansGarden was launched. (Jillian is my grandaughter) I am a Nurse by profession, an artist by Nature and Degree….this is so much fun! I discovered Etsy as a shopper (by nature) and as a seller since January '09. http://www.JilliansGarden.etsy.com Sales are few but its a work in progress and a labor of love…solid fun and no worries, good people there…and I will always have the macoroni necklaces we made that started it all!
I also am a second degree Reiki Practitioner and infuse my pieces with this blessing and healing….all of them…even the funky ones.
I also am a Meditation Student with a wonderful teacher, Marcie, who reminds me to honor the good that I do…..being somewhat self critical this is a good thing…and to breathe.
There is much to do and learn and to enjoy.
